ultimateLA.com Los Angeles Stocks list comes back to life

After residing in a dormant stage for a couple of years, we are bringing the Los Angeles Stocks page on ultimateLA.com back to life. We are removing the old names that no longer matter (Eh Gaads, was that eToys.com that we had to remove from the list just now?), and adding some new and exciting companies. The S&P 500 has been moving sideways for the past 12 months, and would be markedly down were it not for the brief post-election rally and the natural resource stocks that have been carrying the market. Within this context, take a look at two Los Angeles stocks that are up over 200% percent within the past year: Intermix Media (owner of the ever popular MySpace.com website) and True Religion Apparel, the company that makes the $200 jeans that are the must-have item among the Generation-Y club hopping set. Both of these companies are now on our Los Angeles Stock table, and we hope to highlight some more soon that have not yet entered their "breakout" phase. Stay tuned.
